Gorilla's Chateau page lists: "heavy-duty 4 in. x 4 in. framing and 4 in. x 6 in. swing beam support a total weight capacity of up to 800 lbs"; a 5 ft elevated play deck with space underneath; recessed hardware and rubber-coated swing chains for a snag-free experience; a three-position swing beam compatible with most standard swing accessories; natural cedar framing; an Alpine wave slide, rock wall with climbing rope, deluxe rope ladder, safe-entry ladder and safety handles; assembled dimensions of 19 ft W x 11 ft H x 14 ft D; 725 lb shipping weight; approximately 6-8 hours to assemble; and a limited 10-year warranty on lumber, 1 year on accessories. Gorilla's Outing page adds the site rule it applies to every set: allow a minimum 6 ft safety perimeter.

The structure: 4x4, 4x6, 800 lb

No other wooden-set maker we cover prints post and beam dimensions alongside a set-wide rating. Backyard Discovery gives kid counts, KidKraft gives 110 lb per child, Swing-N-Slide gives a 3 in beam and a 300 lb beam capacity. Gorilla's 800 lb with 4x4 posts and a 4x6 beam is the figure a parent of three big kids can use, and it is why the 4x4 Gorilla sets (Chateau, Mountaineer, Navigator, Frontier) score identically on capacity. Hardware and the 5 ft deck

Recessed bolts address CPSC's protrusion rule directly; coated chains address pinching and heat. Gorilla also sells the parts a set needs later: SNS XD swing hangers rated 250 lb, safety handles, 21 in metal handles, and monkey bar and swing beam add-on kits. The 5 ft deck brings the handbook's platform rules: a protective barrier at least 27 in high with openings under 3.5 in, and 9 in of loose-fill surfacing under the whole use zone. Gorilla does not print its rail height, so check it on the built set. Surfacing is on best playground mulch and surfacing.

What is not in the box or on the page

Ground stakes: Gorilla sells them in pairs, says they attach to the swing beam legs, and recommends new ones as annual maintenance; they are not included. A standard: the page does not name ASTM F1148, which Backyard Discovery and Swing-N-Slide do. A per-swing rating: only the set total. Rail height and rung spacing: not printed. None of that is disqualifying; it is the reason a set with the best printed structure sits two tenths below the Skyfort II on a rubric that weights anchoring and certification at 35%.
